Encino Presbyterian Children's Center The official website for our Children's Center. We have programs for preschool, developmental kindergarten, afterschool care and a summer program for children of all ages.
Rev. Sarah Henken, Mission Co-worker in Colombia Rev. Sarah Henken is serving as World Mission's regional liaison for the Andean region, South America—Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela. Currently, donations our church receives through our Mission 1-2-3 Offering are being used to help fund the work Sarah and the Presbyterian Mission Agency are doing in the Andean Region. Equal Exchange Coffee Project Our congregation is part of the equal exchange program. This means that the coffee we use directly benefits the farmers who grow it.
Alliance for the Care of Abused Children, a.k.a Adopt a Child Abuse Caseworker (ACAC) The ACAC is another program that our congregation actively supports.
Rescate Family Rescue Center This center, located in Canoga Park, is another one of our big year round mission projects. Church members volunteer sorting clothes, handing out food bags, and assisting families with various needs. Additionally, donations of canned goods, rice, beans, cereal and spaghetti are collected during our Sunday morning service and throughout the week.
